Surprising that I ate there, since I usually don't eat out that early. BUT, it was a cute-ish, old-fashioned, Granny-style diner, that served me really good fried chicken, and the sides I chose were mac & cheese (which were okay), a green-bean casserole, and soup beans with some very good johnny cakes - or cornbread in a pancake form.
This blog isn't about rating restaurants, but rather posting all the Mom & Pops that I find (and preferably eat at). However, I would eat there again.
Funny in that they had the same painting on their wall of the old man in prayer over his bread that Granny had at her house (via a gift from her daughter, my Aunt). And isn't that what this blog is about? ... Finding food that reminds me of Granny.
